Since February 2nd and until May 19th 2013, Padua is the place to visit to see an extraordinary exhibition:
Pietro Bembo E l’ Invenzione del Rinascimento
The collection of the intellectual citizen of Padua, Pietro Bembo, includes pieces from Michelangelo, Mantegna, Bellini, Giorgione, Tiziano and Raffaello.
Uncountable paintings and sculptures, a large wall-carpet from the Sistine Chapel as well as musical instruments and handwritten books have been lent by important international museums for this exhibition.
Why not combine a week end trip to Padua at the Bed & Breakfast al millepede with a visit of this incredible exhibition?
A short walk will lead you from our B&B, over the romantic and typically Italian street called via San Francesco with its colonnades right to the centre of Padua, one of its market places, la piazze delle erbe, and further on to the piazza del Duomo, where you will find il Palazzo del Monte di Pietà, the place of the exhibition.
